Ultrasound Me

We thought for sure we were having a girl. The name was set and I knew there was a cheerleader in my future for sure. Jude was thrilled with the idea he was going to have a daddy's girl.

That all changed the morning we walked into Ultrasound Me. I jumped up on the table she squirted that yucky gel on my belly and within seconds she said "It's a boy" I wish I had a camera to capture the look on Jude's face when he heard that daddy's little girl was now daddy's future ballplayer.

The day we said I DO

Jude and I both knew we didn't need a big wedding, a million guest, or anything "typical". What matters most is that we share the love we feel for one another with our family and closest friends. On November 7, 2009 we exchanged vows and promised to always put each other first.

The seed was planted

It was a complete surprise the day we found out we were going to have a baby. I knew that Jude was going to be an amazing father, and I knew that I always wanted to be a mom, but to actually see the pee stick say PREGNANT...I couldn't believe it. We were so excited and couldn't wait until the day he/she arrived.
